We went to our first few open houses in February as a “let’s see what houses in this area are like.” By luck, Michael was hosting one of them for a colleague. He was approachable, personable, and not pushy at all - something we hadn’t encountered yet in a realtor. Going blindly on a gut feeling, we decided to work with him, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Multiple weekends in a row, he happily brought us to see houses across many towns in CT that weren’t super close to each other (Redding, Weston, Easton, Monroe, Shelton), and within the first few houses, it felt like he was in our minds already. He knew what we liked and disliked about the houses without us even saying it. As a testament to his great understanding of his clients, he suggested we see a new construction that we never would’ve considered if looking on our own, and it ended up being “the one.” We needed to sell our house fast and Michael provided recs for work he thought would help sell the house, and boy was he right - house was listed and sold in 4 days! Though some realtors disappear after that, he was with us every step of the way. He would go on-site to check on the progress of the new build for us, sent us an email with utility info so we remembered to set it all up beforehand, and even was on-site coordinating movers for us when we moved in. We loved working with Michael and cant sing his praises enough. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about his clients, wants the best for you and isn’t pushing houses just for the commission… someone who truly feels like family… work with Michael. More than once I would have settled for something out of panic, but Mike always pointed out what wasn't great - too many slippery stairs outside, what would happen in the snow, etc. and assured me that we would find something.
